Sharing A Love For Reading!

Room 103 has been enjoying reading all year.  This spring we are reading Charlotte's Web.  This read aloud experience has been full of rich vocabulary and fun for all involved.  The students look forward to the next chapter to find out what is going to happen.  They made predictions and ask lots of questions.

As we prepare to be readers over the summer stay tuned for  directions on how students can share and discuss great summer reads with one another on our new summer reading blog!

Help us get our blog started.  If students are reading books at home and have a favorite book.  Take a picture of them reading it and encourage them to write a sentence or two about the book.  Email photo and comments to Mrs. Hoyt.  She will post them on the new summer blog.

Mrs. Hoyt loves reading books to her kindergarten friends.  We are currently enjoying Charlotte's Web by E.B. White.  It is a fun story about a friendship between a pig and a very talented spider.  "I love all of the big words we are learning when we read this story!", said Mrs. Hoyt
- take a photo of your child's comments and illustrations!
