Thankful to be able to learn....

Friends worked to record the beginning, middle and end of their personal narratives.

On Fridays we work on our news.  Students hunt for familiar words and also add a sentence that presents their highlight of the week.  Students and parents are encouraged to read the news together.

We have much to be thankful for.  Students worked with Ms. Miliano to create their own thankful trees.

Ms. Zanotti was in to room 103 to discuss gratitude.  She read us a book and we share our class book of thanks and our thankful trees.  We realized how lucky we all are.  We are thankful to be able to go to school, have food, shelter and clothing.  We are thankful for our teachers and friends.

Students in room 103 have much to be thankful for. Over the course of the past week we have spent much time reading about giving thanks, writing about this topic and sharing ideas.  Here are some of the things we are thankful for:

Our families
Our pets
dogs, cats and chickens
Our homes
Our favorite colors
Baby Sisters
Moms and Dads
Our Brothers
Friends

Mrs. Hoyt and Ms. Miliano are thankful for their wonderful students!
