Turkey Trot and Food Drive


Families, please remember Pine Glen Students are invited to participate in the non-perishable food drive.  Students are invited to bring in a good anytime between now and next Wednesday morning.  The drive will culminate on Wednesday as we begin the annual Turkey Trot.  Kindergartners will be cheering on students in grades 3-5 as they race the course.  Then we will be participate in the PTO sponsored walk-a-thin!

Turkey Trot is scheduled to begin at 9:30am and the 3rd annual walk-a-thon will begin immediately after.
**Please note if you don’t want to miss the fun plan on arriving at the school by 9:15am

Donations are Due December 5th!
**The Walkathon is one of Pine Glen's 3 fundraisers during the year and proceeds directly benefit all of the children.  Please consider this when making your donation.

Things to remember for the Walk-a-thon & Turkey Trot
  • Dress Warm!  Hats & Mittens & Comfy Shoes
  • All students are asked to bring a non-perishable food donation.
  • Pine Glen will make a donation to the Burlington Food Pantry with the funds raised at this event.
  • The top 5 fundraising families will win Pine Glen carnival tickets.
  • Parents are invited to come watch and enjoy a cup of coffee (better yet, please consider volunteering!
**All donations are tax deductible – your cancelled check or online donation confirmation will serve as your receipt.
