First Graders have studied life cycles this year and had the opportunity to watch chicks hatch and care for them. Room 103 friends were invited to waddle on over and visit some of them in our neighboring classroom! Ms. Mills graciously introduced us to 2 of her hatchlings. We loved it and impressed with our knowledge of living things. We identified the chicks as living because they need food, water and shelter and they breath and move!
