Summer Reading Program at Barnes and Noble

Reading opportunities abound for students in the summer.  Be sure to keep an eye out for summer reading fun everywhere.  This post below originally appeared on the BPS EDTECH blog.

Barnes & Noble Summer Reading Program Grades 1-6

The Barnes & Noble Summer Reading Program is available to all students in Burlington. I’m passing out the journals to classes this week and next week. Or you can download one via BN.COM/summerreading.
Dear Reader,
A book is a magical thing. Once you open up and start to read, you can find yourself transported to any place in the world, any time in history, or any realm of fantasy an author can invent or your imagination can envision. The best part is that you can reach the most exciting destinations without ever leaving home.
The Barnes & Noble Summer Reading Program is here to help you on your way, encouraging you to read books of your own choosing and earn a FREE book, simply by following these three easy steps:
1. Read any eight books this summer and record them in your Summer Reading Journal. Tell us which part of the book is your favorite, and why.
2. Bring your completed journal to Barnes & Noble in Burlington between May 16th and September 5th, 2017.
3. Choose your FREE reading adventure from the book list featured on the back of the journal.
