Halloween Day Fun

Witches, bat, candy corn and fun!  All of this and more were part of our day!   

We participated in 2 directed drawing activities this week!  Our witches came out great today!

Our day included time working with our grade 4 friends.  We collaborating in building skeletons using q-tips and coloring masks.

Some of us had fun designing the poses our skeletons should take!!

We ended our time with grade 4 by reading by flashlights!

Thank you to our room 103 families for contributing to create terrific Halloween goodie bags.  Everyone was thrilled!  

Halloween and Pumpkin Fun

We were lucky to start our day with a guest reader!  Music teacher, Mrs. Agati stopped in and read the book, Shake Dem Halloween Bones.  It was a great story that included characters from many classic children's books.  We were impressed with how many our students recognized!  Of course the book included music and signing too!  

Later in the day we learned a little more about pumpkins and pumpkin carving and then, like scientists, studied the contents from inside the pumpkins!  It was slimy, smelly and cool.

We Love Our Pumpkins!
