The month of January has ended.  As we welcome in February and all that is to come, please take a moment to congratulate everyone for their participation in our reading challenge.  Well done......now celebrate with a mug of hot chocolate!  January 31 is National Hot Choclolate Day!

Computer Science With Mrs. Ardizzoni

 

Today Computer Science specialist, Mrs. Ardizzoni returned and introduced students to another lesson, this time using Indi and programmable car.  After listening to a lesson students watched as Mrs. Ardizzoni programmed it.  Then they helped her to do it as a group before pairs and small groups broke off to explore and practice on their own.  Everyone loved the hands on opportunity and practice!

Friday Blanket Share

 

Sharing our special blankets, quilts and afghans is so much fun!  All students have been enjoying with special time.

Fun With Grade 4

 All students at Pine Glen earned an extra indoor recess thanks to the many Hoot cards earned!  On Friday we invited our buddies to join us for this fun time.  Everyone had a great time with some of our regular recess resources and some special games!

Our class is full of hard workers!  Congratulations to Holly on reaching 100% with ST Math!

We love working with our 4th grade friends!  On Monday we learned about what a bear scientist does to study hibernating bears.
